| A game by Rockstar Games, the creators of the Grand Theft Auto series, that wasn't nearly as popular as the GTA series. You control a small tank, and your goal is to defeat other such tanks that has killed all life on the planets in the Tehric system. To do so, you have to collect 8 different colored power cores on each level. The levels are huge with nice (but a little old) 3d graphics. The biggest problem about the game is the controls. You control each of the two tracks on the tank independently: To go forward or backward, you need to move both at the same time, and to turn you have to move only one, or move them in different directions. Also, the turret can be turned independently of the direction of the tank. I suppose if you play the game a lot, you'll get used to the control, but I never managed to do that. And there is no kind of tutorial or anything; you're just thrown directly into the missions. But I believe it can be a really good game if you just get used to the controls. |
